What does the starting price cover?
The £54 monthly starting price is for a drop-in tuition subscription. It should not be read as the price for every Beyond Education service. Drop-ins involve independent practice with a tutor available to help, and are offered for children in Years 2–9 where the format is suitable.
Some learners need more direct teaching than a drop-in provides. We can discuss a taught group or individual tuition instead. The assessment or initial conversation helps us recommend an appropriate format before explaining the fees for that arrangement.
Please ask what the proposed subscription includes: the subject, session length, frequency and the resources provided. If you are considering more than one service or have several children, the office can explain the options individually. The office will explain which sessions and subjects are covered in your quote.
How regular tuition payments work
Our general tuition booklet describes an annual arrangement based on 50 teaching weeks, with the total spread across 12 equal monthly payments. This means the monthly amount is not calculated simply by counting how many lesson dates fall within that calendar month.
Payments are normally arranged through GoCardless unless a family is using an accepted childcare payment scheme. The booklet states that direct debits are collected on the last weekday of the month. Staff will confirm the current setup and the first payment arrangements for your booking.
AP term dates are separate from regular tuition's annual subscription arrangements. Please make sure you know which service and calendar apply before making assumptions about holiday sessions or payments. The office can explain any bank-holiday arrangement relevant to your child's booking.

Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers
Beyond Education accepts Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers where applicable. Eligibility for a government scheme and whether it can be used for the intended arrangement need to be checked; acceptance by a provider does not mean every family or every service automatically qualifies.
For Tax-Free Childcare, use the current GOV.UK guidance to check your circumstances and understand how the account works. Ask our office for the details needed to identify Beyond Education correctly when arranging payment. Do not send account passwords or financial credentials through the website.
The booklet asks for childcare-voucher and Tax-Free Childcare payments to arrive by the 26th of the month for the following month's sessions. Please allow for your scheme's processing time and confirm the payment reference with staff so the money can be matched to the correct booking.
If you are changing payment method, contact the office first. It is important to avoid an unplanned duplicate payment or assume that an existing collection has been stopped. The team can explain how the change should be arranged.
Absences, changes and ending a subscription
Please read the terms supplied for your booking and ask about anything unclear before committing. The general booklet describes fixed monthly tuition fees, charges despite absence and different arrangements for taught groups and individual sessions.
For individual tuition, the booklet says that with at least seven days' notice the office will try to arrange an alternative session within the same month where possible. Availability, day, time or tutor may differ. Group sessions cannot be assumed to be movable in the same way.
The published subscription arrangement requires one month's notice to cancel. All changes should go through the office. Ask staff to confirm how the notice period and final payment apply to your booking, rather than assume that missing a session or cancelling a direct debit ends the agreement.
The booklet also describes charges for late or failed payments and late collection. Staff should explain the applicable terms with your booking. These summaries do not replace the agreement or affect statutory rights; if the circumstances are unusual, contact the office to discuss them.
Funding an Alternative Provision placement
AP is discussed individually. The parent booklet describes school or local-authority funding, provision agreed through an EHCP and privately funded placements. The appropriate route depends on the learner's circumstances and the decisions of the responsible parties.
An enquiry does not confirm funding, reserve a funded place or establish an EOTAS entitlement. Where a school, SENDCo or local authority is involved, include them in the discussion so the proposed programme, cost and authorisation can be clarified before a start is agreed.
Families are welcome to ask about the setting directly. We can explain our provision and help identify the information needed for the next conversation. For individual advice about legal entitlements or an EHCP decision, seek guidance from the responsible authority or an independent advice service.

Your questions, answered.
Is £54 the monthly price for one-to-one tuition?
No. It is the starting price for drop-in tuition subscriptions. Individual tuition, groups, entrance preparation and AP are priced separately. Staff will explain the cost and included sessions for the format recommended for your child before a regular booking is confirmed.
Why is the monthly amount the same when months have different numbers of weeks?
The general tuition booklet describes annual fees for 50 teaching weeks divided into 12 equal payments. The monthly figure spreads that annual cost. Ask staff to explain the arrangement for your particular service, especially if you are joining partway through a year.
Can we use Tax-Free Childcare for any service?
Do not assume every arrangement qualifies. Beyond Education accepts the scheme where applicable, but your eligibility and the intended payment need checking. Use current government guidance and ask the office about the service you want before choosing a payment method.
What should we do if a payment will be late?
Contact the office promptly so the team can discuss the situation and the terms that apply. Include only the booking reference and information needed to identify the payment. Do not email bank-login details, passwords or other financial credentials.
Does an EHCP mean an AP place is automatically funded?
No. Provision and funding need to be agreed through the relevant process. The existence of an EHCP alone does not confirm a place at Beyond Education. Discuss the proposed arrangement with the responsible school or local-authority team and obtain the necessary agreement before attendance begins.
