Tell us what you are looking for and our team will discuss the options. Requests are reviewed by staff, who confirm suitability, availability and arrangements with you. Sending an enquiry does not book a session automatically.
You do not need to know the name of a particular group before contacting us. Choose the route closest to your needs and explain the subject or learning concern in a few words.
Primary free assessment
For primary pupils, a tutor can explore the child's starting point while you share relevant information and ask questions. The team then recommends suitable sessions. There is no need for your child to revise before this visit.
Secondary group taster
For KS3 and GCSE pupils, ask about a free taster within a suitable group. Staff will check the subject, year group and availability first. A Level and other specialist enquiries are discussed separately.
Parent AP enquiry
Explain the broad educational situation and the support being sought. We can discuss the setting and next steps. Where a school or local authority is involved, suitability, funding and the timetable need agreement with the relevant people.
Professional placement enquiry
Include your organisation and role so the AP team can direct the discussion appropriately. Start with broad needs and the proposed purpose of the placement; staff will arrange a secure route for detailed records if needed.
What happens after you get in touch?
The team reviews your enquiry and discusses the relevant options. We may need to clarify the year group, subject, course details or preferred times before suggesting a session. If a visit would be useful, staff will explain when to come and what to expect.
Please wait for confirmation before attending. An enquiry is not a reserved appointment, and an AP conversation does not confirm a funded place. The agreed date, format and any payment terms should be clear before you make arrangements.
For the initial message, adult contact details and a short explanation are enough. Please do not upload or paste EHCPs, medical information or safeguarding records. If further information is needed, the team will explain how it should be shared.
Let's talk
Tell us what you need.
You do not need to have everything worked out. Give us a few details and we can discuss the right next step.
For now, please use the adult's contact details and a year group. Leave out children's full names, medical records, EHCPs and confidential safeguarding information.
No. Staff need to discuss suitability and availability, then confirm the arrangement with you. Please wait for that confirmation before travelling to the centre or assuming a particular time has been reserved.
Is every initial appointment free?
The free offers described in the booklet are a primary assessment and a KS3 or GCSE group taster. Other discussions or proposed sessions have their own arrangements. Ask staff to explain the relevant option and any fee before confirming it.
What should we prepare before a primary assessment?
Bring your questions and any schoolwork that helps explain the concern. Your child does not need to practise for the assessment. Tell us about practical needs in advance so the team can discuss the visit with you.
Can I choose a particular date?
You can tell us your preferred days and times. Staff will check suitable sessions and current availability before confirming an appointment. The website does not display a live calendar or guarantee that a requested time is free.
Can I enquire by phone instead?
Yes. Call 07951 665435, email the office or use the WhatsApp link. Whichever route you choose, staff will discuss the next step and confirm arrangements. Please use the agreed contact process for an existing placement's attendance or urgent concerns.
